About The Images

All work depicted is watercolour, white gouache, and pen on pages from texts printed in Paris or London in 1811, an artistic practice the artist adopted during her impecunious beginnings but maintained throughout her career out of her love for fine paper.

About Me

Pandemonium Ministry of Culture: The Pandemonium Ministry of Culture is a national arms-length body created by Royal Decree in 1847 to "propagate, promote and preserve the material artifacts, records, and history of persons unique to the ideas, heritage, and society of Pandemonium." During her lifetime Maura Ò Paì was designated a "Living National Treasure" By the Pandemonium Ministry of Culture.
